Supplication is my expansion on the Lord’s Prayer, found in Matthew 6:9-13.
Father, You rise above the ruins,
Your name is carved in every stone.
Your kingdom breaks through burning cities,
Your will is iron, not our own.
Give us strength when hunger haunts us,
Daily bread in shattered lands.
Wash the weight of debts upon us,
Teach forgiveness through our hands.
Yours the kingdom, Yours the power,
Light that shatters endless night.
Chains are falling, graves are empty,
All the glory, all the might.
Light that shatters endless night.
Forgive the wars we’ve waged in silence,
As we forgive the scars we bear.
Pull us from temptation’s shadow,
Lead us where Your light is there.
Yours the kingdom, Yours the power,
Light that shatters endless night.
Chains are falling, graves are empty,
All the glory, all the might.
Deliver us from every shadow,
Pull us from the grip of dust.
Every stronghold breaks before You,
In Your mercy, we will trust.
Yours is the kingdom, Yours is the power,
Yours is the glory, forever the reign.
Yours is the kingdom, Yours is the power,
Forever and ever, Amen!
Yours the kingdom, Yours the power,
Light that shatters endless night.
Chains are falling, graves are empty,
All the glory, all the might.
Forever reigning, none above You,
Every knee will bow in time.
Forever reigning, none beside You,
All the glory, all the might!
Hosanna! Hosanna!
Hosanna! Hosanna!
Hosanna! Hosanna!
Hosanna! Hosanna!
